Manufacturer: SixPex
Pharmaceutical name: Cabergoline
Pack: 1 pack (20 tabs (1 mg/tab))
Caberpex is utilized to address specific hormone-related issues, particularly those involving excess prolactin. This medication helps to decrease or prevent the production of breast milk, with the exception of postpartum use. Additionally, Caberpex may be prescribed for conditions such as Parkinson's disease, tumors that produce prolactin, and to help regulate hormone levels in certain ovarian disorders. It can also assist in the management of erectile dysfunction.
Caberpex is administered orally twice a week, with dosage adjustments typically made every four weeks based on blood test results for prolactin. It is important to adhere to all provided instructions.
Prior to using Caberpex, inform your doctor of your medical history, including any known allergies (particularly drug allergies), liver conditions, mental health disorders, uncontrolled hypertension, or elevated blood pressure experienced during pregnancy. It is advisable to limit alcohol intake, as it may intensify the side effects of Caberpex. Exercise caution when engaging in tasks that require focus, such as driving. To prevent lightheadedness or dizziness when transitioning from sitting or lying down, rise slowly. The excretion of Caberpex into breast milk is not well understood, so breastfeeding while on this medication is not recommended due to potential risks to the infant.
Side Effects: nausea, drowsiness, headaches, dizziness, fainting, breast discomfort, indigestion, abdominal pain, constipation, stomach inflammation, depression, low blood pressure, sudden sleep episodes, skin reactions like rashes or itching, and fatigue.
